Can we claim that all these cars have been left to rot! Probably, as all these vehicles will rot if they aren’t bought, cared for or driven. It doesn’t look like they will be sold in the near future, many of these cars have been standing for more than 12 months or maybe longer.
Here you can see, right into the background, so many cars and cars. But, beyond the horizon, there are even more cars! All of these cars are brand new, but they are homeless. Do you think that they will soon start giving them away, which may be the only radical solution? Who knows, maybe soon we will get a free car with a packet of cornflakes.
When a car just stands idle, the oil sinks to the bottom of the sump, and then starts the corrosion to set in on all the engine parts where the oil has drained.
Cold corrosion is when in the cylinders is building up a condensation and the rust forms in the bores. Then, the engines will begin to seize and would need to be freed by professionals before they could be started. Also, the batteries start to go flat and the tires start to lose air, and the detrimental list goes on and on.

These cars need to be sold, but that just is not happening.
The epidemic is getting worse instead of improving. Car builders are regularly coming out with new models that have the latest technology.
In the end, all of these unsold cars that are 2 years old will have to be crushed up, dismantled and their parts recycled.
