Civilian Hero: Ambushed Arizona Trooper Saved by Armed Passing Motorist Who Shot Attacker Dead!
Arizona State Trooper got to live another day thanks to a good Samaritan which luckily happened to be armed and was driving by the scene at the exact moment.
The 27-year-old state trooper was responding to a call which involved shots fired, and came up on a rolled over vehicle when all of a sudden, the person that was waiting for him in an ambush like scenario at the scene opened fire and shot the trooper in the shoulder.
Once on the ground it appeared the attacker was trying to smash his head against the pavement but then came the armed motorist who shot and killed the attacker saving the troopers life.
Col. Plain Milstead, chief of the Arizona Department of Public Safety, issued a statement which apart from thanking the civilian hero, pretty much confirms that the trooper would probably not be alive if not for the intervention, “I would simply say now, thank you, since I don’t have the foggiest idea about that my trooper would be alive today without his help,”
