Best 16 Birthday Present Ever, As Dad Buys His Son A 1969 Nova SS 396 Street Rod!
The 16th birthday is a very important one, since for the kids in the US it means that they finally get to be able to drive a car, which implies freedom for both the parents and the kids.
Now the parents can relax and not have to drive the kids to football or whatever practice, and use that time for something much more important, like take a nap, or have a beer or two.
And for the kids it means that they are an adult which can now take care of his transportation on their own.
And what a transportation method this is, as dad gives his son the keys to a 1969 Nova SS 396 Street Rod, which they both build together.
The Nova has been in the family for years, and they have been working on it side by side making it one awesome beast, and now it’s time for that special ride.
Check out the video and tell us, was your first car as awesome as this one?
Fast And Furious’ 1970 Dodge Charger R/T – Drag Race!
Before we start jumping into conclusions about the real movie car that Vin Diesel Drove in the fast and furious movie, we have to remember that it was a movie car, and no matter how awesome it looked, in reality looks and power are totally different.
According to the information that we were able to gather about it, the car is owned by some Italian car collector which apparently owns hundreds of cars, but rarely takes them racing like he does this one, and understandably so, since we know that cars like that one are worth huge amounts of money and for the most part racing accidents are not covered by it.
So this makes this video so much more special since there are not too many chances to see the real Vin Diesel Dodge Charger in a real race, with no CGI and special effects, enjoy.
Crusty Nova Takes On 1700hp Viper, Twin Turbo Coyote, More!!!
Out of the famous garage of Car Craft, comes one of the coolest sleepers, The Crusty Nova, which they made at the order of Shane McClelland!
When he put in the order though, he had a few things on his mind that were not to be changed on the car, and a few things that just had to be installed.
One of the coolest requirements, if you ask us is the fact that he asked them to ease off on the roll bar in order for him to be able to fit rear seats and take his kids for a ride in what also he said should be an car that is capable of running 8.5s at the strip, but still have air conditioning for those hot days when the kids are headed to soccer practice.
The Crusty Nova, turned out pretty great if you ask us, with its 1,000+ horsepower engine, and with the looks of a rusty classic.
This time, in the video, it wakes up from its slumber, and destroys the competition, showing them that they should not judge it by its looks.
Classic Muscle Car Street Racing On Route 66 Will Make U Love America Again!
Depending in who you ask the answer to the simple question, why you love America, will be answered with a huge variety of answers. And we are not talking about just the people that live here, we are talking about anybody in the world.
Some will say freedom, some will say, opportunities, some will mention democracy.
There is one pretty big group of people that will give you pretty much the same answer, and those are the ones that we are appealing to today, since there is no car lover in the world that will not tell you the same thing.
They love America because of muscle cars, drag racing, and route 66!
So for them, we have the perfect video, that will bring all of this together, yes, we have a video of classic muscle cars, street racing on the actual Route 66.
BURNOUT GONE BAD! BIG TIRE BLOWN CAMARO CRASHES LEAVING CAR SHOW!
Well for all the Mustang owners out there, you can relax, it’s somebody else for a change. We all know that lately all of the burnout gone bad, and leaving a car show fail have been mainly guys in Mustangs that overestimated their driving skills end ended up crashing on the way home.
Some of them had literally jumped into the crowd like they hate the spectators but luckily there have not been serious injuries.
Now it appears that it is the Camaro’s turn as one extremely powerful Chevrolet Camaro, crashes on the way home from the cars and coffee in Reno.
The driver of this beautiful blown Camaro, slams the gas pedal pulling a massive burnout, and does not stop burning rubber as the car picks up speed, but then disaster strikes as he gets sideways and slams into the barrier.
Check out the video and remember, no matter how much you want to show off the power of your vehicle this is a very good reason to resist it.
Sunken Ship Pulled From The Bottom Of The Ocean Loaded With Over 1,400 Cars Still Intact!
You would think that once a ship has lost its buoyancy and found its way to the bottom of the ocean, it has found its permanent resting spot, but boy would you (and we) be wrong.
Apparently not all ships are left to sit at the bottom of the ocean, since this cargo ship which was one of the biggest vehicle movers of its time and unfortunately sunk, is being raised from the ocean floor, but for all the wrong reasons.
Filled with about 1,400 vehicles, the Baltic Ace vessel collided with a container ship, at one of the busiest shipping lanes leading to the famous Rotterdam port, sending it and its precious cargo to the bottom of the sea.
While most of us would beg for all those vehicles to be rescued, the main reason that the Dutch government spend all that cash is the fact that it wants to preserve mother nature, and its shipping lanes.
Play the video and see all those vehicles come back to dry land.
The Rusty Chevy Nova Twin Turbo Small Block Sleeper!
Sleepers are getting to be more and more popular by the day it seems, and no matter how much they don’t want to take credit, the whole revolution of sleeper cars, boomed after the popular Farm Truck from the bellowed show Street Outlaws hit the TV’s around the world thanks to the Discovery channel.
Far be it that we claim there were no sleeper trucks before him, we all know that there were tons of them, but they seemed to get more popular after the farm truck started appearing on the show and kicked the asses of unexpecting supercar drivers.
Todays vehicle is one fine example of what a sleeper vehicle should look like, with terrible paint, rust all over the place, and a small block Chevy that takes each breath thru two 76mm turbos and has pushed out 890 horses on a dyno run.
Check out this badass sleeper and watch this beast move off the line and down the track.
This Blown 572 Hemi 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T Is A Masterpiece Of Work!
If there is one thing that truly gets our attention in an instant then it has to be a real clean nicely build good looking sexy Muscle car, and boy did we found one just like we like them.
This is a Hemi powered 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T, and boy is this thing pretty. We cannot stop watching this prime example of a super cool vehicle, which is powered by a 572 HEMI that breathes thru a 8-71 Blower and from time to time, gets a show of Nitrous slammed down it’s throat.
This setup allows it to pump out an amazing number of 800-900 horses, and once it slams down that shot of nitrous, the power rises to a very nice and round 1000 horsepower number, something that truly deserves respect no matter what you drive.
Check out the video, turn up the speakers and enjoy this beautiful muscle car.
DUKES OF HAZZARD – THIS IS HOW THE GENERAL LEE WAS BORN!
Sometimes one of the main characters on TV or the silver screen is not an actual actor but the vehicle itself, and one of the best examples of this is the world famous vehicle The General Lee, not take away from the fame and popularity of the actors in the series but we can rightfully claim that this is one of the most famous cars in the history of TV.
No matter how many times you have seen the Dukes Of Hazard, there was no mistaking that orange paint and the Dodge Charger for any other vehicle on TV.
How did it all stared thou? Do you remember or do you need a refreshing course in the whole deal that made this one of the most recognizable rides in the entire industry?
Play the video and see how it all came together and how this Dodge set the standards for cars like the famous Eleanor from Gone in Sixty Seconds.
Murder Nova dropping off his son on the last day of school!!
The Nissan Murano is a very decent 3.5 liter V-6 popular crossover with a continuous variable transmission which makes for a very smooth ride. To be honest my sister actually has a silver 2007 model which has been doing its job for about 10 years, taking my niece and nephew to school, football practice etc.
However, that white Murano that you are about to see just like the silver one my sister owns, has never, and will never, not in a million years, be the coolest ride in line as parents drop off their kids, because right behind it, this time is the world-famous Murder Nova, on a school run.
Yes, the Murder Nova, is on a school run as a gift to the successfully completed year on the last day of school, and let’s be honest it’s a gift not just for this kid, but probably for the entire town, since when will you ever again see a 3,400-horsepower ride (yep that Murano has about 260 of those) in the school parking lot.
Watch the extremely cool video and tell us honestly, wouldn’t seeing that put a smile on your face?
Gas Monkey Garage Is Looking For A Skilled Mechanic!
They say good help is hard to find these days, but in this case, these guys had one of the best hands available in the business the well-known Aaron Kaufman, but after leaving the popular show Gas Monkey Garage, Aaron went his own way and the Monkey Garage is left two hands short.
Now we know that the famous Aaron will not be easy to replace so Richard Rawlings is personally trying to recruit you.
Well maybe not you personally but at least somebody from his huge audience that is able to wield the tools that are required in the famously crazy environment that we have all seen on TV.
Do you think that you might have what it takes to be the new member of Richard’s team, and do you think you will be able to take on the silly and complexed tasks that they take on?
Well, what are you waiting for, send them your resume and hope for the best.
Even a Demon would be afraid of this Trans Am 455 Super Duty!
While most of us are still starring at the Demon and its performance number, something even meaner lurks on the horizon so we had to tell you about it the minute we found out what it is
Inspired from the incredibly sought after 1970-73 Super Duty Trans Am, and based on the Alpha platform of the next model Camaro, this beast is getting a very round number of 1000 horsepower and as crazy as it sounds, this is while its drinking pump gas.
How, well that 455 cubic inch beast is force-fed huge gulps of air by the incredible 2.3 litre Magnuson supercharger at huge 14psi of boost.
Ok, this monster is not really a factory car so the Demon is safe in that class but the fact that it has nearly 200 horsepower more than the Dodge Demon really commands respect.
How to get it? Well that is not so easy and simple either, you would have to be one of the fastest 50 costumers which will get all their paperwork ready and also drop a non-refundable $3,000 deposit, and this is just to get a slot in the already busy production calendar.
Once you have gotten the slot, you will have to cough up the remaining 60% of the amount. If by any chance you are one of the 77 a lucky owners of the Bandit Edition TA, you will get priority in purchasing this vehicle.
Either way, it is going to leave you with a hefty dent in your pocket guaranteed.
Hellcat Rips Through All 7 Gears During a Burnout!
We have told you many things about the Dodge Hellcat but one thing that we have repeated ever since it first came out is the fact that this thing can get rid of tire thread at any speed in any gear and we now definitely have the video that will prove us right.
By the number hatchback cars parked nearby we have to say that this is somewhere in Europe, and because of the sheer fact that there is not a huge number of Hellcats roaming the streets there, we can understand that this uploaded did not tell us the location that this insane burnout has been filmed.
The muscle car, sounds amazing as it rips thru the gears with the exhaust note echoing in the sleeping city which will wake up to a rubbery signature from the American Muscle car.
Check out this amazing video bellow of one of what is probably one of the greatest burnouts performed in European traffic.
Aaron Said Goodbye To Gas Monkey Garage, Now He Is Saying Goodbye To His 1963 Ford Falcon!
As you have probably heard by now, Aaron Kaufman has left the Gas Monkey Garage, and their crew and is off to a brand new start for his own show that should be filmed for The Discovery channel just like the one that he is leaving.
Now possibly to get the funds for the new garage, he decided to sell his Road Race Falcon on eBay, in a bidding that started at only $1,000 but is quickly climbing all the way to the $35K mark, and does not seem to be slowing down.
If you haven’t heard the car did participate in the 100th Pikes Peak International Hill Climb event last year, so Aaron is advertising it, “as raced”.
It is also advertised that the car will be able to run on 93 octane fuel but just like any racecar it likes the taste of the 100+ octane fuel much better.
As for the equipment i’ll hit the highlights
363ci 3rd ten boss sbf 500hp
holley 750cfm hp series carb.
At the moment, the price tag of only $50 grand is a bargain since we all know that Aaron spent between 80 and 90 thousand dollars on it, so you better hurry up.
If you need more info about this amazing vehicle check out the video bellow made especially about this 1963 Ford Falcon.
There is probably nobody on the face of the planet that has not imagined what it would be like to win the lottery and how would he spend the grand prize.
For us gearheads, there is no doubt, most of the money will be spend on cars, but there is such a diversity in that area that we could be thinking on which cars to buy for days and still not reach a definite list of purchases.
This guy apparently has made his choice and on this video, we see one of the coolest collections of cars owned by one person.
The show starts with a slammed GMC Denali Dually pickup, which is towing a trailer with three gorgeous cars on it, a 1955 Chevrolet, a first-generation Camaro painted in a stunning silver color and a 1963 Impala (we might be wrong about the year).
Check out the rides on this video and tell us, what would your choice be if you win the lottery, what would be the first three cars that you will buy?
TWO BRAND NEW UNTOUCHED 1987 GRAND NATIONALS FOUND IN A GARAGE!
Could you imagine owning two nearly new Buick Grand Nationals, that have less than 1400 miles on them combined, and just keeping them lock up in a garage waiting for their price to rise?
Well apparently, this lucky fellow had just that luck, and these two twins are sequential in the vin numbers as well, now that one of the rarest things we have seen in a while.
The price tag however, was a bit steep even for such a jewel, since the owner initially advertised them at $200,000 which is quite a hefty sum of money even for something this rare
It appeared that after some negotiations the owner decided to drop the nearly insane price tag, and settle on a more reasonable price with the buyers, but they did not wish to disclose the exact number, all they said that the owner would not let them even touch the Buicks until the money were safe on his account.
Click on the video and check out the amazing film that was made for this car.
She’s 18 Her Name Is Alex Taylor she runs a 8 second quarter mile… and she does it all herself!
Instead of changing snapchat filters a hundred times a day, this 18-year-old girl, is thinking about real oil filters and changes them instead. Meet Alex Taylor, one of the youngest participants in most of the drag racing events that she takes part in.
No, she is not here with her boyfriend or dad that takes care of her car so she can just sit in and push the pedal to the floor, she actually does it all by herself.
Her LS1 base block is filled with all the top-notch internals and the twin 66 millimeter turbos makes sure that her badass ride gets to the quarter mile marker in 8 seconds, with the help of her 1300 horsepower.
Check out how she handled Drag Week where she has set her fastest time yet, and where she talks about her ride with great passion and with great knowledge in the video bellow.
By now there is not a car lover on the planet that has not heard of the show Street Outlaws and their crazy races held all over the place. The Discovery channel is “to blame” for this show getting to be one of the most popular shows in the entire word focused on drag racing, and muscle cars, and we think that in a way we should be thankful for showing the racing scene to all continents.
Well the money is out, for the entire crowd to see, and these guys mean business so play the video and see how to make about 10 grand in about a matter of a few seconds.
This ’67 Shelby GT500 Has Been Rotting in a Yard for 20 Years!
First of all we would like to express our deepest sympathy for this lime green 1967 Mustang Shelby GT500, it is in no way fair and should be considered down right criminal for such a thing to be done to such a legendary machine that has helped establish the muscle car around the world.
The exact location still remains undisclosed but this is somewhere in Georgia, and in the photos there is a beautiful ‘Stang which spend most of it’s life as a race car known as “Crazy Horse,” with mainly Wayne Blackwood sitting behind the wheel, but Casey Paul Ford, appearing as the owner of this fine automobile, that was well known in its day in the Cumming, region of Georgia and the drag race events held there.
No matter the aesthetics of mother nature giving this Shelby a hug, it is still a terrible resting place for a vehicle which had such a rich winning history, it is cars like this that should never die, or at least be placed in a local museum where other can learn about its famous life.
Until (hopefully) he gets to see better times, this “Crazy Horse” will stay there in one of the most unfair ways to treat this car.
When somebody says 2000 horsepower, it we sit up straighter and in that second we devote all of our attention to what is about to be said or explained next, and this time, it’s for Chuck Huck Schroedl’s ’65 Impala street car.
This amazing beast has it all folks, yes, it is in no way a sleeper car, this one shows you in at first sight that this street monster means business and you better be packing some serious heat if you are going to attempt to line up against him.
From the spotless engine bay to the incredibly big scoops to that insane blower, it all screams power, and even at idle, the microphone of the recording device is already overwhelmed and cannot process the noise, at full chant, the roar of this beast would be earsplitting.
Check out the video of one of the baddest street cars out there, and no don’t ask about the MPG please.
No matter how safe a racetrack is, there is one thing that everybody should keep in their head, Motorsport Is Dangerous, and there are no two ways about it.
Believe us, after seeing numerous times how much effort, work, blood, sweat, tears, and love goes into building a racing car, the last thing we want to happen is a crash, since we have been there when people have been working on racing cars, and we have been there when that disappointment from a crash hits the entire crew.
This time the unfortunate video is of the team of the Memphis Street Outlaws, and their very special and very fast and powerful “Menace Camaro” which about halfway down the track, gets loose and after what looked like a great save by the driver, it slams into the barrier resulting in a bunch of sleepless nights for the mechanics, along with a sizable bill.
Check out the video and hope that they will get that fixed in no time and get that machine back on track soon.
This Wicked Hand Built Mini Chevy Nova Looks Like So Much Fun!
You are about to fall in love with a ’70 Chevy Nova, and yet, it’s not even a V-8, this thing is actually an inline four with only 1200 cc.
Don’t despair though, this miniature Nova, only ways about a fraction of a real one, due to it’s size, and it is powered by one of the most powerful 1200cc engines out there, it has been stripped off a Kawasaki Ninja, and it the fuel injected from a ZX12R can push out 185 horsepower, which puts the power to weight ration of this mini Nova, into the badass territory.
Tubular chassis is what holds it all together and a fiberglass body makes sure that the weight stays incredibly low and check this out, this machine build by Darrell Hurt from Camdenton Missouri is unbelievably street legal.
We say shut up and take our money, but apparently, we were beaten to the punch since this baby sold for about $10,000 already, a money that will be apparently put to good use in order to finance the next project that Darrell will be starting soon.
In the meantime, check out this incredibly cool and fun Mini Chevy Nova in the video hear it roar as it goes thru that 6-speed gearbox.
429cu 650HP V8 Powered 70′ Ford Torino Cobra is an Absolute Badass!
Talking about a real absolute badass, we bring you an amazingly clean nearly perfect 1970 Ford Torino Cobra, with an 429 V-8 or an even 7.0Liters engine which they say is good for 650 horsepower.
Some say that the 650 horsepower figure might be a bit enthusiastic but we don’t really care if this thing has less power, that hard hitting cam sounds so mean, that we kinda feel bad that this video only lets us hear this Torino at idle. Who wouldn’t want a hear a 70s V-8 at full chant with a cam like that and that loud exhaust right.
Check out the video that will leave you wanting more and tell us, which one of the classic muscle cars from the 70s was your favorite and would this Torino be on your to own list if you can get it in this kind of perfect state?
Have you seen last night Mega Race on Discovery between Street Outlaws and Gas Monkey Garage?
